Harnessing its unprecedented location in the Lok Ma Chau Loop and unique I&T ecosystem, HSITP has successfully attracted enterprises for collaboration. Out of some 60 enterprise partners, 24 of them would inaugurate their presence or expand their operations in Hong Kong. Collectively, enterprise partners are expected to invest billions of dollars in HSITP and create thousands of job opportunities.

As a manifestation of the industry’s confidence in HSITP as an I&T bridgehead, some enterprise partners will land as tenants in the two wet laboratory buildings, set to be completed in 2025, setting up advanced laboratory facilities for their research and development activities, while others will contribute in the HSITP ecosystem, supporting the talents and the I&T companies to prosper, and the development of a vibrant international I&T centre in HSITP.

“We look forward to embracing the start of a new chapter in the I&T landscape in Hong Kong. HSITP will fully leverage on Hong Kong’s native competitive advantages in fund raising, tax and legal system, together with the supportive cross-boundary polices in the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Co-operation Zone, to attract both the I&T companies and the talents to strive and excel. We are confident that we will become a global knowledge hub and I&T centre where the best talents congregate, where the future is visualised, and where innovation technological solutions for tomorrow's problems are developed and commercialized.” Mr. Ma continued.
