In 2017, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) set up the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park Limited (HSITP), a wholly-owned subsidiary, to build the superstructure, manage, maintain and operate the Park. Appointed by HKSTP, the Board of Directors of HSITP comprises 12 members with diverse background and extensive experience in academia, public services or business sector.
Mr. Eddie MAK is the Permanent Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
Mr. MAK joined the Administrative Service in 1991 and has served in a number of policy bureaux and departments, including the former Information Technology and Broadcasting Bureau, the Civil Service Bureau, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Washington and the Post Office. He was Hong Kong Commissioner for Economic and Trade Affairs, USA from July 2018 to September 2021, and has served as Director, Celebrations Coordination Office from January to July 2022.

Mr. Vincent Ma Wai-shin has over 30 years of extensive experience in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry. He has led and managed sizable technology groups and drove the continuous and comprehensive growth of the groups’ business. From 2006 to 2019, Mr. Ma served as the President and then the Chief Executive Officer of WTT Hong Kong Limited. Before joining HSITPL, Mr. Ma served as the Chief Digital Officer of Sun Hung Kai Properties.
Mr. Ma holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computing Studies from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
